Guinean Geography

Guinea is divided into four main geographic locations. The first one is the Basse-Cote area lowlands that border the western coastline. That area is where the Susu like to live, it is also the place that contains the largest amount of the Susu population. Guinea also has a mountainous region that runs up and down throughout the center of the country. Then there is the more jungle-like region that is located in the southeast and finally the grassland area that expands throughout the northeast region Guinea. Guinea also has some fantastic beaches which you can see on the left. An interesting fact: Guinea's mountain ranges are the source of three important African rivers.
